Raúl Salazar
Economist with a degree from Universidad Nacional San Luis Gonzaga de Ica, he has an MS in Economics from Iowa State University. He graduated from the Analysis and Monetary Policy Program at the Latin American Center for Monetary Studies in Mexico City, D.F. Mr. Salazar is an expert on economic, financial and monetary issues, with a professional experience of more than 30 years. He is currently a director of Scotiabank Peru, Quimica del Pacifico, Energia del Pacifico, Pesquera Diamante and Profuturo AFP.
Drago Kisic
Economist with a degree from the Universidad Católica del Perú, with a Master’s degree from the University of Oxford, United Kingdom. He is a founding member and director of MACROCONSULT and MACROINVEST. He is a member of the Board of Directors of MAPFRE Perú, MAPFRE Vida, Haug, TAHOE Resources of Canada, OBRAINSA, Corporación Rey and Clínica Médica Cayetano Heredia. In addition, he is president of MACROCAPITALES SAFI, Bodega San Nicolás (Pisco 1615), Inmobiliarias Alto Las Viñas and Cerro Lindo. He is a former president of IPAE and the Peruvian Center for International Studies (CEPEI), officer at the World Bank in Washington D.C. and director of the Peruvian Central Bank.
Róger Espinosa
Economist with a degree from the Universidad del Pacífico, has an MA in Economics from Boston University. Broad experience in investment banking: over the past two decades he has led or co-led more than 40 transactions. His professional track record includes the membership of the Board of Directors at Edelnor, GBH Investments and IPAE, as well as being president of Sudamericano Bolsa S.A.B. He led the directorate of the Economics Area of the Instituto Libertad y Democracia, among others.
Elmer Cuba
Economist with a degree from Universidad Católica del Perú, has a Master’s degree in Economics from the Universidad Católica de Chile. Extensive track record in macroeconomics, economic development and public policies. He has.been the coordinator of the macroeconomics group of the Consortium for Economic and Social Research (CIES). He is a director of Peru’s Central Bank and a macroeconomic consultant for several of Peru’s leading corporations.
Álvaro Monge
Economist with a degree from the Universidad del Pacífico, has an MA in Economic Development from Sussex University, as well as a PhD in Economics. He specializes in applied economic research, quantitative methods, economic development (particularly development economics), public policy analysis and strategies for poverty reduction. He is currently the general manager of MACROCONSULT.
Rafael Carranza
Economist with a degree from the Universidad de Lima, he has pursued graduate studies at ESAN and the Universidad de Piura. He has broad experience in banking, corporate finance, and asset management gained over the past 25 years from various management positions in top financial institutions. He is currently director and chairman of the Corporate Governance Committee of the Lima Stock Exchange, director of Empresa Agroindustrial Cayaltí and general manager of MACROASSET Management.
Manuel Salazar
He is an expert in investment banking and capital markets, having advised on transactions totaling over US$ 5 billion. He has pursued studies in economics and finances. His professional experience includes being a member of the Price Vectors Committee of the Superintendency of Banking and Insurance, general manager of Sudamericano SAB, and member of Banco Sudamericano’s Assets & Liabilities Committee. He is currently a board member of the MACRO GROUP, Promotik and Di Perugia, member of the Investments Committee of the Fortaleza Private Equity Fund, member of the Investments Committee of the “Debt for Infrastructure” Fund and member of the Investments Committee of MACROWEALTH Management.
Mónica Com
Economist with a degree from the Universidad Católica del Perú, she has an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley. She specializes in investment banking, financial advisory and company management. Currently, she is a member of MACROCAPITALES’ Investments Committee, as well as director on the board of Bombones Di Perugia.
Mateo Moreyra
Economist with a degree from the Universidad del Pacífico, has an MS in Finances and Accounting from the London School of Economics. He specializes in investment banking, as well as strategic and financial evaluation of companies, with 22 years of professional experience. Mr. Moreyra has successfully advised on transactions in excess of US$ 9 billion. Gonzalo Tamayo
Minister of Energy and Mines from July 2016 to July 2017. Economist graduated from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, with doctoral studies and a Master's degree in Economics from the University of California-Los Angeles (UCLA). During more than 20 years of experience, he has led and participated in various projects in the electricity, hydrocarbon, transportation, and logistics markets, among others. He has also participated in studies on financial and capital markets together with consultancies for government agencies, international institutions, and private clients. His professional career includes the Boards of the Fondo Consolidado de Reservas, the Organismo Supervisor de Inversión Privada en Telecomunicaciones (OSIPTEL), and Electroperú.
